The New York Times is looking for a resourceful and energetic reporter to be a senior member of its economics team. This reporter must be able to conceive and produce coverage that illuminates the forces shaping the American economy during and beyond the pandemic. The right applicant will have at least five years experience, familiarity with economic indicators and be comfortable analyzing data. Experience creating graphics is a plus. This is a news and enterprise beat. The job will include talking to sources and writing definitive pieces on deadline when economic data is released. Multi-Skilled Journalist
