Manager, Investor Relations

What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with all existing and potential investors
- Manage the investor relations calendar to include activities for Annual Report, Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, and quarterly earnings conference call
- Plan, develop and execute key investor seminars, conferences, small group meetings, road shows, etc.
- Prepare presentations and communications materials for corporate and investor presentations, marketing presentations, webcasts and earnings materials, including high impact presentations used by senior leaders in key investor conferences and other events, earnings releases, conference call scripts, Q&As, supplemental data, earnings presentations and ad hoc financial analysis
- Design, maintain and enhance investor relations collateral and presentations
- Monitor analyst coverage and estimates of company, peer group companies, competitors and other industry coverage
- Develop a deep understanding of industry fundamentals and communicate the drivers to relevant stakeholders that have an impact results
- Provide clear and timely analysis on all topics relevant to investor relations to internal stakeholders
- Work closely and effectively with the Communications team to produce and assist in the development and delivery of key messages
- Develop and maintain third-party vendor relations
Who You Are
- 6+ years in a Senior Investor Relations role
- Strong knowledge and technical understanding of equity markets, analysts’ models and different valuation methods
- Strong skills and understanding of financial statements
- Strong communication skills: Both internally and externally, with the ability to explain complex matters in a straightforward way
- Strong analytical skills and solid project management skills
- CFA, BA or MBA in finance related discipline from a top tier establishment
- Experience from an online media / Internet environment, such as having a strong Internet/Media Financial Analyst background, is beneficial
- Should expect travel to conferences, industry events, industry meetings and our Stockholm office
Head of Investor Relations
As Head of Investor Relations, you will lead our proactive investor relations strategy and drive our narrative to ensure that the company’s business strategy and financial prospects are fully understood by the analyst and investor community. You will partner with our CEO, COO, CFO, and Yelp’s entire leadership team to communicate our story and build our relationships with the investment community.
The head of IR must be a seasoned professional who has extensive experience in generating business results and leading teams with effective management skills. The job requires a corporate professional who looks to the future with realistic optimism to envision what could be possible. Success in this role requires collaboration, communication, leadership, and vision.
Where You Come In:
- You will effectively communicate the company’s vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
- You will develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework
- You will manage equity research and investor relationships through targeting and regular communication, including conferences, roadshows and other investor events

What it takes to succeed:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting MBA, CFA and/or CPA desirable, but not required
- You have a solid financial background , including equity research or corporate finance experience
- You have Investor Relations experience dealing with public market investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and Equity Research Analysts, ideally in the technology sector
- You have a strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements
- You have strong analytical skills, deep experience with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
- You must be able to deliver high quality work and multitask and meet tight deadlines
- You have superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors
- You have a strong understanding of topics of interest among investors, for example, ESG, shareholder activism, and capital markets
Investor Relations Associate
Work closely with finance and other corporate functions, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, corporate development, treasury, and marketing and communications, while interfacing with senior leaders to provide accurate, actionable information to both internal and external stakeholders. Conduct ongoing assessments of our shareholder base, identifying investor targets, while tracking outreach activity and managing all aspects of investor engagement by senior staff. Perform ongoing competitive analyses while remaining informed about developments in the competitor landscape by deriving insights from analyst research reports, news reports, presentations, and earnings calls, among other sources. Produce daily and quarterly competitor news briefings and quarterly earnings summaries to brief senior leadership. Monitor and track analysts’ financial estimates while synthesizing research commentary and analyses into an easily-digestible format. Produce and support client-facing investor relations materials, including quarterly earnings call materials, investor presentations, periodic investor newsletters, management engagement, and the externally-facing investor relations website.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience with performing financial analyses and reporting in one of the following settings: investment banking, private equity, equity research, or corporate finance
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with financial industry data tools, including CapIQ and Nasdaq IR Insight, among others
- Experience with communication financial concepts to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- BA or BS degree in Finance or Accounting
