  • Collaborate and coordinate with senior management, finance, global marketing, business development, and other stakeholders to help conduct portfolio review and develop and maintain Franchise LRP.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • 10 years+ business development experience; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Science; MBA preferred.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Ability to facilitate/manage cross-functional teams, work in a highly matrixed organization and with strong networks within small business, university, or venture capital community required.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or strategy required.

Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for leading all aspects of business development/ GTM strategy for multiple Crowe industry verticals for our NY and Livingston audit practice. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in future business generation by identifying new business opportunities through networking within industry. Are you up for the challenge? Additionally, the BDE works closely with local office partners to align pursuit efforts to target account lists and office priorities/initiatives.

This is what some of your work entails:

  • Identify, qualify and pursue new sales opportunities at prospects and select existing client accounts.
  • You will organize and execute a multifaceted sales plan, including cold-calling, phone, fax, email and mail campaigns, to effectively make direct contact with prospects.
  • Build effective and collaborative relationships with the key decision-makers within the prospect organizations.
  • Co-leading the development of Thought Leadership content and delivery.
  • Working with national marketing resources (MDS) to develop effective, targeted go- to-market plans for NY Audit

  • Understand the short- and long-term needs and challenges of prospective accounts and how Crowe Horwath’s services can address those issues. Participate with a team of partners, senior managers and marketing (MDS) professionals in the pursuit process that moves prospects through all stages of the sales process.
  • Negotiate and participate in pricing strategy to make Crowe Horwath competitive.
  • Bring to bear BOD relationships by helping to develop an effective program consistent with information availability in (but not limited to) CRM
  • Develop and effective strategy for both Alumni and Social media programs, consistent with Crowe firm-wide initiatives.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budget process for office and industry verticals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA is a plus
  • 10 years’ experience with proven success in selling professional services (not selling a product) to corporations with revenues ranging from $25 million to $1 billion. Big 4 or national firm experience preferred.
  • Looking for exceptional experience leading complex sales processes that involve multiple team members and decision makers (primarily C-suite decision makers)
  • Demonstrated network of COI’s (Centers of Influence) to include banking, legal and other professional services relationships that could be used to find opportunities within targeted industries
  • Your skills should include extraordinary communication, presentation, analytical and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated community involvement and activity with industry associations, civic and/or non-profit groups is helpful
